Quilters Cottage was established in January 2008 by Pat & Rhett Roman. Pat & Rhett originally established Island Threads in Pawleys Island, SC in Dec. 1998 and was instrumental in gaining a loyal following of quilters.  Because of personal family reasons Island Threads was sold in 2004 but closed in Nov 2008.  The love of quilting and the associations with the quilting public allowed the formation of Quilters Cottage to take form, and now "you have the rest of the story."

    Quilters Cottage mission is to give the utmost attention to our customers by assisting them with what is needed to bring about a  satisfactory project by having only the most current products available to make that project. 
  The staff at Quilters Cottage are professional and knowledgeable in all aspects of quilting. Knowledgeable in the choosing of fabric coloration to the thread and pattern being used. Professional in ways of experience with degrees in Home Economics , Interior Designs Textiles & Fashions, Pattern making and Design.  Every member of the staff are qualified instructors so you can be sure that what is being taught has been thoughtfully prepared to give you the utmost class experience.
